No Character Meals at MGM

I just called to make PS for our upcoming trip in June. I wanted to do the Hollywood Vine character lunch. But the lady on the phone informed me that this is no longer, Why!!!! So there is no character meals at MGM, this is a real heart breaker

from what i have read, some of the characters are at planet pizza. not sure if this is all the time or what. good luck!

Yeah, you'd think that with all the money they're making off the character meals, that they'd offer one at MGM - esp since they could include some of the other characters that aren't represented yet (like Toy Story!).

Can there really not be enough demand for them to merit a whole park without one?

MGM used to have some great character meals--Aladdin at the soundstage (which is now Playhouse Disney) and the Hollywood & Vine restaurant. It's very disappointing that they no longer have these.

I think that they need something there (and yes, Toy Story would be a GREAT theme for MGM!) They really don't have many character meals for little boys (most are geared toward girls--with 3 princess meals!)

I wonder if enough people complain if they will ever get another character meal over there.
