Great news!!! Can you post the recipe??? I'm dying for PIZZA!!! Thanks!!!

I would love to find this too. Although I follow WW my husband is currently doing Atkins :) Thanks!!

deCaff38 posted the recipe on this thread http://130.94.75.33/showthread.php?s=&postid=4962678&highlight=+pizza++low++carb++no#post4962678
Here's the recipe:
4oz cream cheese
4 eggs
1/4 cup fresh (not powdered) parmesan cheese
pizza sauce or doctored up tomto paste
3 C shredded motz
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Beat cream cheese and eggs til smooth, add parmesan and spce, Spray 9x13 pan well. Put 2 cups of motz in the bottom , pour the egg mix over. Squish around to mix. Bake at 375 for 30 min. spread on pizza sauce,,sprinkle on remaining motz.Add pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mush etc. Bake 10 more minutes un

Fabulous and NO carbs!!

Well for us Atkins people, there would be a few carbs, but not a lot.

I am glad to hear that you liked it Judy. I thought that it sounded interesting, but I thought that "crust" might taste too "eggy" for me. Maybe I will give it a try - perhaps a 1/4 recipe using 1 oz cream cheese, 1 egg and 1 TBLS parmesan cheese. (Then there is less to waste if I really DON'T like it.)

:)

Thank you very much! I just printed so I can bring home for my husband :)

Thanks Beth! I'm glad you had it. I made it last night. It was awsome!!!

It does not taste like eggs. It is a great fake out crust.

Can't wait to try this! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I've made a variation of this without the cream cheese. I brown 1lb of ground beef and sausage and put it on the bottom of the baking dish. Next I layer sauteed vegetables, like onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Then I put 2-8oz cans of tomato sauce on top, and spread out an 8oz pack of pepperoni. Then, 2 cups of pizza mix cheese on top. I bake it at 425 for 15 minutes. It's delicious. :earsboy: :earsboy:

About 3 carbs per serving, due to the sauce, cheese, and veggies.

Your variation really sounds good! I'm headed to Savannah for a conference, today, but when I get back next week I'm giving your recipe a try. Thanks!

Don't ever believe the "no carb" thing, unless what you're eating is no more than meat and water. ;)

The recipe for the crust alone looks like this: 1826 Calories; 146g Fat (72.3% calories from fat); 112g Protein; 15g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 1191mg Cholesterol; 2308mg Sodium.

You'll add anywhere up from 3g of carbs for 1/4 cup of sauce, and don't forget to add carbs for any pepperoni (processed meat contains carbs), veggies, additional cheese, etc.

Sounds a lot like the "infamous" Deep Dish Pizza recipe. Very good... and you really wouldn't know it's eggs and cheeses. :)

Hey Beth, would you post this recipe to our eating healthy board too? That board is HERE.

That way I can add it to our low card recipe index.

Would you rather that I post it for you?

I used the crust recipe and topped with tuna salad and mozz cheese and baked until it was warm and melty. Delicious!

I got this(pizza) recipe from a co worker and then started South Beach. Needed something good and hot for a cold evening. Love the Faux crust . The tuna cheese sounds yummy too. You can put anything you want on it. If your SB or Atkins just use veggies , cheese and meats. I have used hamberger and canadian bacon too. My friend added mushrooms. Not my favorite but I love black olives. It isn't no carb but is definately low carb. I could handle no carb for very long. Keep the recipes coming.

i tryied the Blue cheese chicken from the SB book . I didn't put the cheese under the skin(sounded icky). I just cooked the chicken breasts in olive oil and crushed garlic. When I flipped them I cooked them for a bit and then put the blue cheese on and covered it. The cheese melted nicely.
