No interest in a "NoBuy" Disney trip. We are on vacation and we spend what we want when we want. If DH wants a slushie thing a Goody's Candy store then he gets it.
If I see a cute outfit for the kids, they get it.
We work and watch our spending the rest of the year so we can vacation and not count pennies. We book a value if money is tighter so we can spend on the rest of the trip.
Tee hee.. we book a value to be able to go! It would be nice to not have to watch.. but I think the kids understand that if we want to go every year to 18 months we gotta do budget until they are older and I can work more.
So....we are budgeting NOW to let them have a little more on vacation. When one of them asks for McDonalds, the other one pipes in with a reminder...."No, we can't - we're going to Disney!". Our trip isn't until January.
) then we buy them. If we feel like getting a bag of candy from Goofy's then we do. I don't mind being realistic in that we cannot spend millions but I am not going to vacation when I have to stress over buying an ice cream bar. To me that is not vacation. YMMV.
