I'm sure I'm not the only one who's restless and dreaming about vacations right now...

Last night, when I was asking DH (hereafter referred to as Clint) what he thought about staying at the Wilderness Lodge for a few days then transferring to Portofino for a couple on what I THOUGHT was our annual anniversary Orlando extravaganza this coming September, he up and said...

"Maybe we ought to skip Disney this year. Universal, too. I mean, after we've been a couple of times, it's old."

BLASPHEMY! And he continued to flip channels and watch TV while I'm trying to compose myself.

"We'll just go down for a weekend" he says.

Well, hell's bells. Let's just call Harry and Lloyd and make it EVEN better. (note the thinly veiled sarcasm)

SO I guess I'm planning a little weekend jaunt sometime soon. Everyone commiserate with me for having to give up the usual 7 day trip. I was hoping to make it into a tradition, sniff, sniff.

Hang in there. Miracles do happen. I remember my husband saying the same thing once many years ago. Well, when time for the next vacation came around, I'll give you one guess as to who suggested WDW - :teeth:

In the meantime, plan that little weekend jaunt and pack some extra clothes. You just may need them!

We'll be looking forward to your return.
