On Feb. 20, 2015, a New Jersey man, acting without counsel, filed a lawsuit against Disney and the FCC in New Jersey federal court. The handwritten complaint, barely one page in length, asserts:

I sent the Walt Disney Company numerous move ideas, about 30 to be exact. These movies were based off of television shows that I had previously seen so they were reasonable to make. I also sent them an idea for a t.v. show based off of Franklin W. Dixon's Hardy Boys Mystery book series. I never received a response from the Walt Disney Company. I felt that a large company like them might hold the rights to some of the characters that would be used in my creative recreations. I also tried to go to a place that is a dissemination of the Federal Communications Commission and they could not help me with that, even though i know they have something to do with movies and television. Due to the nature of what I want to make I named the FCC and Walt Disney Company in the lawsuit with the hopes of attaining an understanding in court and negotiating a deal to make my ideas come into fruition.
I believe the gentlemen has asked the federal court to let him proceed without having to pay the $400 filing fee. If so, odds are good neither Disney nor the FCC will ever see the complaint. A federal statute requires courts to screen out lawsuits by non-paying filings if the lawsuit is frivolous and that assumes that the filer asks the court to let him proceed without paying the filing fee (he has not yet done so).

This isn't the only lawsuit the individual has recently filed. Going on the name, the same gentleman has also sued the United States, Congress, the CIA, NSA, DEA, ATF, FCC, CDC, NASA, US MARSHALS, DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, ABA, NLA, and the FBI.

I know the nuts don't always come from New Jersey but the Garden State is batting 3 out of 3 on frivolous lawsuits against Disney as of late. :duck:

It's sad when the "Frozen is my life story" lawsuit is the best of the lot. :teeth:

So, he sent them ideas for movies based on properties that he didn't have rights to, under the assumption that Disney did, to get them to allow him to make them, he tries to get the FCC to intervene (I'm really not even sure what he means by "dissemination" there), and they ignore him, so he sues both...because he wants to make movies to which he doesn't have the rights to force them to explain to him why he's an idiot. Heh.

LOL...........gotta love "special" peoples :) They live in their own world and everyone loves them there :)

That is strange.... I mean, who would've thought NJ would be the epicenter for all these suits. Better beef up security at the next DisMeet over there.
