Nintendo wii hookup at Poly?

Does anyone who has recently stayed at the Poly know if a Nintendo wii can be connected to the TV? We will be staying there for our daughter's birthday, and she has asked for a Nintendo wii, but it will be sad if she opens it and cannot play with it until we get home.

I think they are compatible with any TV, even TVs that are a little bit older, like ours. Someone else more familiar with the Poly can chime in here, but doesn't the Poly have the new flat panel TVs? If so, I would say the Wii would definitely work there. You might want to call the front desk and check on this one (or TA if you are using one)...

Yes, this is possible at the Poly if you have a Wii (or PS2, or Xbox360). Just connect the analog audio/video out connectors into the analog audio/video in plugs in the LG flatscreen TV at the Poly. They're the White, Red and Yellow plug bundle you'll use to connect the Wii to your TV at home. Same thing works at the Poly.

I would hook up your Wii at home before you go to test it out. (While your DD is asleep of course. ) We hooked ours up before Christmas to try it out and make sure that we had everything necessary to get it hooked up. You will have to stick the sensor bar on top of the tv or below it. Make sure that you take something to attach it with. You probably won't want to use the sticky backing on the bottom since you will not be permanently attaching it to that tv.
Our kids love ours. We bought the extra remote with the Wii Play. You get 9 more games and the Wii remote for around 50.00. Very handy. Also, you might pick up a SD card for the memory. The biggest card that it can use is a 2GB. Wii sells these cards, but any SD card will work. DH just put an extra blank one that we had bought for the camera when they were on sale into ours.
(These are FANTASTIC for parents too!!!)

I would think as long as the tv has the audio video connectors but while I know your DD is looking forward to the Wii for her birthday but i personally wouldn't feel secure leaving the Wii unattended in the hotel room while everyone wants to trust that Disney is safe its still the real world and I'd hate for someone to see it and have it grow feet and walk away.

Maybe you could make a certificate to give her on her birthday that tells her that when she returns home Mickey arranged for her Wii to be waiting or something cute like that.

If you do bring it I would maybe ask if the Front Desk has a safe it would fit into so you can have it locked up. Wii's are so hard to come by still and costly to replace.

I second the PP. I would definitely not leave a Wii in a room unattended.Even at disney there can be thieves.The Wii is still not easy to find in some states, and if it were to be stolen Disney is not liable.

I second this. My daughter is getting a PS3 for Christmas but while we're at Disney she's getting a 'Santa left your PS3 at home to make sure it's safe' card.
