Nine dragons fortune cookies

I just was reminded of the weird fortunes we had written in our fortune cookies at Nine Dragons. There was a headline on Yahoo about not so happy fortunes. We were a party of 5 and all were very strange. My husband's basically said he was lucky to be alive and things could be worse. I should have kept them but all were really strange.

HOW VERY STRANGE! I wish you could remember more, I'm dying to know what they said now.



You know, for 14 years now my husband has been getting the same fortune in his cookie EVERY TIME!!!

"Help, I'm trapped in a Fortune Cookie Factory!"

(But here's the funny part: My 11 year old (normally quick witted) son STILL doesn't get that Daddy's just joking so he's always SHOCKED that Daddy got the same fortune AGAIN! And he always says something along the lines of "Man, I wish I would've picked that one! You ALWAYS get it!" Notice he doesn't care about the poor person that's been trapped all these years! )

I can't remember, but I called my daughter and left a message to see if she remembers any of them. They all had wierd undertones.

Not from Nine Dragons, but I am known in my family for always getting the "un-fortunate" cookies.

Funny but I never saw any of this type until our visit to 9 dragons. These were similar to the ones received by all of us!! I can't recall the actual sayings, neither can my daughter. I guess better off forgotten!!

Not a Nine Dragons, but another Chinese restaurant, I once received a fortune that said:

"Duck you round eye"

of course the word wasn't duck

I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard, but wondered what would have happened if a sweet grandmotherly type had received that fortune. LOL!
