Oh funny thing I forgot to mention! While we were debating our costume changes, we kept seeing banana suit costumes. For some reason, banana costumes must be in right now. Anyway, Tom and I decided that it would be SOOOOO funny (and this would ONLY work at MNSSHP where there are lots of DISers who would get it) if we got a banana costume and put a sign on our chest that said, "Single Digit Dance!" How funny is that?! I was cracking up as soon as we thought of it! If the banana costume didn't seem so cumbersome, we would totally do it!


So anyway.....EIGHT DAY!!

Well that's not exactly true. What I mean is I'm all packed in my mind. While my students were writing today, I sat with a pad and pen and made a list of exactly needs to be put in my carry-on suitcase, Tom's carry-on suitcase, my Vera hipster and my "personal item" which will be a larger bag that I can put my hipster in if need be. I'm pretty sure it will all fit.

I need to just pack once and for all this weekend so I can be sure it all fits and stop stressing about it!

I brought my glow sticks and razors to my parents' tonight so they can pack them in their checked baggage just in case. BTW, they are leaving TOMORROW MORNING!!! 5:15am to be exact and guess who volunteered to take them to the airport?! I might cry on the way home but I can't be too upset because I'll be there 5 days later! I just get so emotional about it though! It's such a wonderful thing, these Disney trips! Hahahah!!

So when we get there on Weds. night, we'll probably drive over to POFQ (where my parent's are staying) to pick up the stuff that they've packed for me.

AHhhh!!!!! I'm so excited!!!

I'm sure you'll be able to make it all fit! Anything to avoid luggage fees! It's so soon for you now! I can't help but think that I'd be leaving in 6 days, so depressing. I know I'll be there soon enough though. So don't feel too bad! haha

I'm VERY impressed that you are only bringing a carry on. We have the same dates and there is NO WAY I could pull that off. 4 checked bags(not yet packed) for us plus carry ons filled with mostly entertainment for the kids I really need a 12 step program for over packing.

Super smart idea on having your folks take some of those items - especially the glow sticks! I always take a razor in my carry-on and they haven't said a thing about it but now I wonder if I need to check the TSA website. Maybe I just slipped it through

I took my glow sticks in my carryon last year and they didn't say anything, but it's not worth the risk for sure (I had extras in my checked luggage just in case) It's awesome the timing works so your parents can take the stuff with them! I'm sure this weekend will be full of fun filled packing!

I've been lurking but I just want to say that you can bring razors in your carry-on luggage. Obviously not razor blades but disposable razors are just fine! I've done it our past 2 trips and was never stopped. I checked the TSA website and it's listed right on there that they are accepted.

You'll be there the 28th and we're arriving on the 29th! I'm happy to see that so many DISers will be there when we're there, too!
