Look what we have for our next trip!!!!!

You guys KNOW how we LOVE pictures and fill my TR with them! So now hopefully our pictures will start looking more professional. As of right now, I have no clue how to use it but from what I've read, it's good for beginners wanting to get prof looking pics. So we'll see!!!!!

Awesome!!! You'll love it. Get a good comfy bag for it. My bag kills my shoulders when I wear a tank, so I need to figure a way to put something on it to make it less scratchy.

Congrats on the new camera, looks awesome! We don't have a nice one yet and I have been debating on if I want to get one before the trip or not. I could borrow my parents canon if I wanted to, but I am just not sure I will want to lug it around the parks or not when i already have the stroller and other junk to carry with a toddler. decisions, decisions!

I can't wait to see all the awesome pics you take with it!

Hey Nikki. I am only to page 4 so far. I am slowly but surely reading along. I love all the old photos. But you make me feel so old. I took my 2 older kids to Disney in 1997, with the pink castle! LOL! It was ugly!!! I think I actually wore an over all shorts outfit that trip too!

I hope Disney NEVER does that to the castle again!

Hahaha!! So glad you're reading. My PTR has been kind of blah lately but maybe I'll start posting some more "past trip" pics. Ugh, that cake castle was the worst!

Thanks!!!! I am soooo excited! I know it's going to be sort of a pain but it's just the two of us with nothing else to carry so I'm sure we can find a nice camera bag that can maybe hold everything else we need too and just take turns carrying it.

Took some pics yesterday with my new camera!! I can't BELIEVE the difference! It's like my pictures were never actually clear before!

I didn't take it to the fireworks. To be honest, all those pictures were taken on "auto" mode!! I really have to do some research in things like "apeture" and "shutter speed" so I now how to get the best shots in every condition!

Notice I was wearing the exact same outfit yesterday as I did last year on the 4th.....

Unfortunately, the environment was not nearly as fantastic!

And ending the night with the most amazing fireworks display I've ever seen followed by dancing around World Showcase to patriotic music.....the 4th of July is forever ruined for me since that trip! Watched the fireworks last night with a Disney friend and we both agreed that next year we need to bring a stereo and play Wishes....but we'd still be missing a castle!

Ok, still plugging through, but I have read through pages 17 now. I wanted to tell you that my DH did the Richard Petty ride along a few years back and really enjoyed it. I think they have them a couple of times a day. I beleive he went for a 2 PM one. He went over and aksed about it and the first one was full, but he could join the 2 pm group. There was a little bit a pre training and then they rode along. They offer a picture to buy as well, but he declined. We were doing BBB that day, so he went alone. He didn't give me much in the way of details except that he loved it. And he had rubber flying in his face...which I guess was cool.
