Bought our tickets today! Got the AP discount! Wooo Hooo!!!

I think I might agree with you about early July!! As terrified as I was of the 4th of July crowds, it was like week after school got out, and I was leaving for WDW! Then I had the whole rest of the summer! I'm afraid I'll be wishing my whole summer away this year since the trip is at the end of September....

Unfortunately, that is exactly what I am doing.....that is the price we way for getting APs though......next year we are going earlier, cause our APs will expire on July 12th. The July 4th crowds were not bad at all - now the rain - ugh!
But at least the tour groups were light. I expect to get nailed this year..

Yeah we did that last round of APs...went mid/end of July when we got married and the tour groups were out of control!!! Then did the early July trip last summer.

Well this will be our third time getting APs. We're planning this trip, one in the winter and then again next summer. Our first set of APs, we only got two trips, our next set, we got three so we'll get three again. The best part of having APs is the TIW card!!!!

I'm a little nervous that I don't really have any clients other than myself and my sister and parents but I'm hopeful that it will come with time. I'm advertising around school and handing out business cards to everyone. It's really only been a couple of weeks so I need to not be stressing about it just yet!

Don't worry about it Nikki! I'm in the same exact situation!!! I have my trip, my parents trip (well they haven't booked yet but hopefully will soon!) and possibly one of my friends trips but it depends upon a job offer.

I wish I could be like you & not stress over it!!! But to be honest, I AM stressing majorly over not having clients! It seems like alot of the other new agents have TONS of transfers and new reservations!

I actually got mine in the mail yesterday!!! I was super excited!!! It doesn't take long to get them -- I ordered them May 1st and they arrived yesterday!

Nikki, can you get the TIW at the parks now? I remember you used to have to order them in advance. Do you know what month you will be going next year? We will be back to late June/early July.........

Wendy, YES you can get the TIW in the parks now! We did that for our honeymoon (almost 2 summers ago now!) and I was actually really mad at myself because we were so excited to trade in our AP vouchers and head into the parks, that I completely forgot to get the TIW card and ended up having to pay full price for our dinner that night! But I went to guest services at Epcot (I believe) the next morning and was able to get it, no problem!

I was going to wait until we got our APs, which wouldn't be until we are actually there but then I started worrying about the party selling out so I called and they were able to grant me the AP discount even though I don't actually have them yet. Phew!

Good to know Steph! You are right...getting started is going to be the toughest part. Once we get a reputation, hopefully people will recommend to other people and so on. I'm so lucky that my sister, sister-in-law and a few friends are being so awesome about spreading the word!
