Nikki and Tom take on F&W and MNSSHP-Take 2! LINK TO TR pg. 55

Congratulations, Nikki!!! :thumbsup2 :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2::yay::yay:

How have I missed this PTR????!!! I feel so ashamed!! :guilty: Subbing now so I don't miss another word.

PS- YAY for the budget!! It was so exciting at the BOE last night!!:woohoo:

Guess what came in the mail today??? Perfect timing on it being official! Once I was hired, I started taking courses with the College of Disney Knowledge. I was like a kid in a candy store, watching the lessons and taking the tests. It was so much fun. So today, my graduation ears arrived!! Along with a pin and a certificate of completion! I am totally framing it!

Tom walked in the door just as I was reading through the things they sent me and, you know me, I said, "I'm so happy, I feel like I could cry!" And of course I did!! My ears are still on as I'm typing this and I don't want to take them off! I'm seriously waiting for someone to pinch me!

I was planning on making pork chops tonight but Tom suggested we go out for a celebratory dinner! Yay!!

You are sooooooo cute!!! Hope you had a nice dinner!!:cutie:

Ellen!!! I'm so glad you're here! Oh thank goodness that the budget passed! Especially after how bad things were last year. We are all so thrilled with the new board members too. :thumbsup2

We did have a nice dinner, thanks! Diet is out the window this week! Too much to eat for! :lmao:

Look! You know how I LOVE to organize! Now I get to do it for a living!! I'm filing my very first client document....which happens to be for my own trip but I'm hoping for more in the future!

Do you have your own website?? I'd like to chec it out if so. Maybe we can all cancel our trips and rebook through you! haha

I'll PM you....I don't have my OWN website because I work for an existing company but there is a website.

Congrats on your new job! You can add us to your client list :cutie:

That would be awesome!

150 DAYS UNTIL I LEAVE FOR DISNEY!!!

Still seems far away but when we first booked the airfare, it was well over 300 so we're halfway there!!! :cool1:

I still have over 70 and we are going in July! John had knee surgery and has had some complications so we are actually flying this year instead of driving - Southwest rates went down to $84 each way! We may be going at Thanksgiving since we will be getting APs this year - I will let you know, cause I might need a Travel Agent!

Congratulations! I think the pic of you in the ears should be loaded on the website to introduce you!! Can you pm me the site? I will put it on file for any friends who need a ta in future!

You look so happy! Congratulations again!:goodvibes

Wow Nikki, that is so cool!!! Congratulations, I am sure you will be brilliant and equip lots of people for an amazing disney experience!

congrats Nikki- you look so 'at home' in those ears!

Ahhhh! I do remember that now from your cruise! And it makes me a tad nervous about our upcoming trip since I truly have trouble relaxing. However, hopefully I will just approach it all in a different mindset. I know Joe is gonna LOVE it! (and I guess we do have the 1 day in WDW, so that will be my time.)

As I said on FB, you look adorable in your ears!

I'm kind of sad I'm not going in July again this year. I know a lot of people would never go in July, it the heat and the crowds just SCREAM Disney to me! The one time we went in the winter, it was just too weird!! Let me know about your T-giving trip!

Did I ever pm you? I can't remember! BUT, I AM on the website now, not with that pic, my favorite pic of me and Mickey! It's mouseworldtravel.com.

Thanks Cathy!

Haha! You know I love to rock a good pair of ears!

It'll be fine. Having a kid and knowing you have a stop in WDW....there will be plenty for you to do. I just can't relax...which is why I'm up and posting on the DISboards before 7am on a Saturday morning.....

I love your countdown ticker! MNSSHP is something still on my to-do list, just hard to take the kids out of school that time of year.

I will keep you posted on the Tgiving trip. I think we are a go IF we can get decent air fare.

I know what you mean about Disney in July. I am "meeting" some nice people on the July board, but it is not the same as our July 09. I love being there in the heat and with the long hours. I just think I do prefer early July like last year. Late July, we come back and summer is over because the kids will start band camp a week later. (not to mention the tour groups are more prevalent in late July).

I think I might agree with you about early July!! As terrified as I was of the 4th of July crowds, it was like week after school got out, and I was leaving for WDW! Then I had the whole rest of the summer! I'm afraid I'll be wishing my whole summer away this year since the trip is at the end of September....

Hi Nikki! Coming over from Hope's PTR and can't wait to read more!

Oh hi!! Welcome! Glad you came over!

just dropping in to say hi! so are you officially booking/planning some trips now as a TA? I hope it goes fantastic for you!!!:thumbsup2

all my friends are always saying (as I am sure many DIS planners can relate)- "you should be a disney travel agent" (after i am done helping them plan their trip, lol). i just laugh, since i know it isn't that easy. I know it is a hard work and a big commitment you can't just take lightly and have to work really hard to develop new clients. Not sure I am ready for that. After working in event planning/marketing for so long, i know being a TA isn't as easy (or always fun) as it sounds to all us other folks. So haven't gone there yet and may never, but nice to know it is doable and a lot of DISers have had success. wishing you all the best!;)

Hey! How are you? I am really trying but it seems I'm just missing all my friends and family's trips right now! Like, 'Oh we booked a Disney Cruise two weeks ago!' :headache: I'm a little nervous that I don't really have any clients other than myself and my sister and parents but I'm hopeful that it will come with time. I'm advertising around school and handing out business cards to everyone. It's really only been a couple of weeks so I need to not be stressing about it just yet!

Thanks for asking!
