Oh thank god! It makes it much more realistic that I could one day run it.

Though running through the Magic Kingdom would be, well, magical, Animal Kingdom is a very pretty park and I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Happy Birthday Nikki. The Mary Poppins tickets are so cool. I haven't been to broadway since living in NJ. It's been a long time. I keep telling my husband that we have to do a trip to NYC just because he has never been. I really want to see the Lion King. If we could do that, I would be happy!

I can't even remember the last time we saw a Broadway show. Does the Radio City Christmas Spectacular count? If not, then probably Guys and Dolls which was a bday present for Tom a few years ago. I've kept all the playbills from all the shows we've seen together! (Wish I would have kept every one I've seen but I wasn't always thoughtful, I guess!) I'd love to see Lion King too. Maybe next year!

Happy belated birthday, what great Disney gifts!

So I decided against doing the 5K in October. I was all for it, but then I realized, it would be my first full day of my trip, and I just didn't feel like getting up early, running, and then being sore for 3 days! Just walking around the parks feels like a workout to me, I can imagine running first thing in the morning!

I also kind of want to train to do the Princess Half Marathon next year instead...we'll see how that goes!

Love the bags- i have the medium sketch tote and wristlet and love them. i want to get a letter carrier style bag, but not sure if i want the 40th or the sketch (in green like my sis has). i think maybe the 40th, since it is special! i plan to buy it the first day or order beforehand if they have them online.

your plan looks great! i saw the 5k was moved to AK this year, bummer, but i bet it will be fun and beautiful early in the am!

can't wait to hear more.

Glad you made it, finally!! Glad to hear you are OCD too! My Lucy sketch is so awesome! I love it! Haven't even used the Kristen yet. I am thinking about getting the 40th wallet when I'm down there IF I can find one with perfect placement. I was bummed at first about moving the 5K to AK but I'm getting excited about it now!

I'm back...I can't believe I have been mia for so long from your tr! I guess I never bookmarked it! Happy Belated Birthday!!! You got some really awesome gifts!

And we've been throwing around dates and I booked a summer trip for end of August, but am calling this afternoon when I'm done work to change the dates to Sept 30-Oct 5. Also planning on adding a day at Disney's Hilton Head for a day or two after the trip. I'll be figuring out itineraries later...it's so hard with it being a shorter trip! My DH ideally wants to go in November but we wanted to take advantage of one of the deals going on right now. So unless he insists we switch to November if a good deal comes out we'll be there the same time. I'm actually really excited about going at that time!

Thanks!!! It's Tom's birthday today and we just got back from dinner.

We loved Poppins, of course! Same Poppins and Bert as when we first saw it in 2006 and they were just as amazing! They did change one of the songs, which we thought was so funny because the song that they replaced was like an a terrifying acid trip and we've always laughed about why on earth they put it in there. We asked a guy who worked the souvie stand and he said they changed it about 2 years in. Funny!

Oh and the puffed french toast? Tom just googled the recipe!

It's one of my favorite movies too! I love how the musical is similar but also very different. The way they do Supercalifragilisticiexpialidocious is unbelievable! And the Step in Time number has to be the best thing I've ever seen in my life!
