Nighttime safari at AK

Is the nighttime safari at AK the regular safari with just lights added into the animal areas? Is there something that is supposed to be different about it except that it's at night? We usually only spend one day in AK when we go in August and wondering if we would want to spend two days with the extra events going on.

I can answer it this way...

If it WAS (basically) the daytime safari but with lights, that would be enough to entice me to ride it, and more than once, at that.

There are to be new animals that will only come out at night.

There were some details about how they are creating an "eternal sunset" for the night time safari that will change the feel of the ride. I believe it is done using a combination of lighting and large LED displays. Sounds cool.
