Nighttime Entertainment at DL & DCA?

It's been a while since we've been to the DLR and it will be our youngest daughter's first visit (though she has been to WDW many times and once to Disneyland Paris). I was excited to see that the nighttime entertainment will have returned for our August trip and am wondering if it is possible to see: Fantasmic, MSEP and DL Fireworks all in one evening or is it better to do it over two nights? Will there be fireworks at DCA too or just WOC? We will be in California for two weeks (our first real vacay in forever) and we will have 6 nights in SoCal at the end, initially I was only going to do a day at each park since there are other places we'd like to explore but I am tempted to add a day for DL. Also are there dessert parties for Fireworks like there are at WDW? I did see that there is a lunch package for MSEP which I am interested in booking. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you can see all 3 in one night if their hours are similar to previous years. I've done it many times before. However you would have to sacrifice the view for Fantasmic since you would need to run like a mad person to get there from the hub. If you can add that extra day then I would highly recommend it.

For your other questions, there is a thread filled with info about the dessert party and packages somewhere in the first 10 posts in this section of the forums.

If they still do it will remain to be seen, but one way we have enjoyed fireworks and Fantasmic in a single night is that fireworks usually happen right after the first Fantasmic show ends and if you are already at rivers of America you can stay put and they usually do the projects on the water and you can see fireworks in the sky. They play the music and everything.

I think they will still do this. It’s a great crowd control measure to prevent one giant crowd from moving towards the hub and putting pressure on the crowd that’s already there.

I've done this plenty of times.

I prefer to do MSEP, then fireworks from the hub, then Fantasmic. If it's busy, your view may not be that ideal so I recommend doing a Fantasmic dining package when attempting this. Usually, I'd grab the package from Hungry Bear to eat while saving my spot for the earlier night shows.

You could also do Fantasmic, fireworks from the rivers of America and then MSEP. This is arguably a little easier but you won't see the castle for fireworks.

Check the showtimes when making your plan. I don't really recommend MSEP dining packages because it's not that hard to get a spot for the parade.
