Nighttime Crowds

Last night (Saturday, Sept. 24th) Disneyland was insanely crowded in the evening time, and I'd say much much more than the daytime. The nighttime shows (WOC, Fantasmic, Fireworks) were insanely packed, the walkways were packed, and the rides were packed. I am thinking that locals come in for the night (?) because it was definitely more crowded at 11pm than it was at 1pm. Is this unusual or is this the new normal?

Sounds pretty normal for a Friday or Saturday night.

We were there Saturday and it was crowded at night. My son waited 30 minutes to get on Haunted Mansion at 11:30 - WITH a lightning lane!

I think a lot of it has to do with Enchant Keys being blocked on Saturdays after September. That was part of our reason for being there this weekend.
