oh dear..
you know, I had no idea at all that booking dining was so difficult or so popular.

I've been fundraising to take dh (disabled) on holiday, only just got the fiunds, booked the holiday and we go this friday!

I really would like for him to go to one character meal while we're there, he loves extra attention and hugs...

preferably at the mk pre mnsshp on the 30th september or 7th of october... I'm not too fussed about which one, pooh bear is his favourite though.

any suggestions oh wise dis'ers?

I would suggest Crystal Palace inside MK. Pooh Bear and his friends are there. I personally love that place; food is great and interaction with characters is even better!

Definitely try to schedule Crystal Palace for dinner one of those evenings. The characters there are great at interacting with adults (most of us are really kids at heart while at WDW anyway!). Your DH will have a wonderful time there. And the staff are very accommodating (my wife uses an ECV to get around). Have a super trip!

oh thank you, do I need to reserve or is it possible to book on the day?

are all meals there character or are some without?

Definitely call for an ADR (Advance Dining Reservation) now. You MIGHT get an ADR the day of, but I wouldn't count on it, especially with MNSSHP.

I think all CP's meals are character meals. We've been there for lunch and dinner and I recall the characters there both times.

Binky try calling 001 407 939 3463 and keep pressing # until you speak to a person, if you can't book just yet don't panic, all character meals have a 48 hour cancellation policy so then try again 48 hours before you plan to dine, if you still can't book its always worth asking each morning as you get in the park, you will need a credit card to book as well

All CP meals are character meals. Please try to book an ADr prior to your trip, walkup acceptance is few and far between these days. Have a wonderful trip!

Forgot to add you definately want crystal palace for pooh and co but won't make a difference if its a breakfast lunch or dinner

Just an FYI if you have not been there before, Crystal Palace is a buffet with a set dinner price of $24.99. Before you book, you may wish to check that they can accommodate your diet. I did not see any soups on the menu listed on allearsnet. (hope this is not too much info, I recognize you from egullet!). If it will work for you, though, I can tell you that the Pooh character interaction is really good there.

hello!

I've been just about dead from the cold (and having two wisdom teeth removed) this week, haven't been on egullet since having to cut my blog short, I could have just crawlled into a hole and died I tell you.

I wouldn't eat at all, I've been told I can pay a $5 charge for "entertainment" and just keep dh company. mashed potatoes are so depressing for $25


I'm also wondering about the garden grill's ice cream social and re-hitchihg ceremony, he would love that... does anyone have the number to call from the uk? I keep seeing xxx wdw dine, but our phones dont have letters

just managed to get a lunch reservation for crystal palace.

unfortunately the garden grill is all booked up, that's a real shame, I know dh would have loved the re-hitching ceremony, I'll just keep trying I guess! is there anything like that at any other dining places?

Hi binkyboots! From what I understand the re-hitching ceremony has been discontinued. I think it is a real shame as we had it on the list but just never got to it. I suppose now that they have brought back the "old" menu (sort of) at GG, they might bring brack the re- hitching. Let's hope!
