I'm sorry folks but I don't see what the fuss is all about. Personally I don't see the attraction in the pins. I rather see Disney give a push to other Disney Charcters or attractions that seldom see the light of day

Larry

Hey Larry.

Here is my take on this whole thing (based on my expert opinions formed while observing my teenage daughter..) I think the Nightmare phenomenon has become ...like a cult type thing. The movie itself, especially in teenage circles, is like their version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. They can't get enough of it, and this has spilled over into the marketing of all things Nightmare. Personally, I'm with you. I think it's weird.

I like the movie the more I watch it. And we see it a lot in my house. You see, its my 5 year old daughter's favorite movie and has been for some time. She loves it and has her own collection of Jack pins. I do agree though there has been way too much emphasis on it lately - too many pins .......too much can make us all sick of anything no matter how much we like it!

Bonnie

I have liked this movie from the moment I frist saw it. It was the first one I saw that matched my vision of Halloween, weird, quirky and fun. Others seemed to be too juvenile (sterile?, G rated?) or too much emphasis on scare and gore.

I agree with you Bonnie, WAY too much stuff this year. I have become more particular in the pins (and other stuff) I collect from this movie. I passed on the 13 Weeks series and have passed on a few of the PINS.

I also agree with Larry that many fine characters are virtually ignored. I'd like to see some diversity, especially in PINS. There has yet to be a pin of Yzma, the villain from Emperor's New Groove, as well as many other wonderful characters. Maybe I should make a list and send it to Disney? :p :p
