Nightmare Before Christmas Jack & Sally Meet & Greet at Epcot 8/23/13

I don't know how I missed this but I'm excited. But I don't know how I'll convince dd to actually wear one of her Sally or Jack dresses when she wants to be Hermione for Halloween. This sealed the deal for MNSSHP this year!

I vote jack since it is a more interactive and new meet and greet.

I caught them Thursday evening - but they were in America. The area was dead, I went through the line twice; once with a screaming baby then again with a sleeping baby:

We had meet them earlier that day and the line was quite long. It was about 4:30 ..Mickey, Minnie and even Donald in his blue sailor outfit, which I don't believe you can find regularly, were all walk ups...Jack and Sally were quite a line. You could tell the CMs were trying to keep it moving and I'm not sure if everyone got to see them. We had a lot of adult fan groups in front door of us who each needed individual shots vs a group photo so that definitely added to the time.

They were amazing though. My kids haven't seen the movie yet but I knew how rare they were so I told the kids they wouldn't regret it. Jack was fantastic and made a fan out if my son. He was seamless on picking up details. He told me son, "you got dressed today... congratulations!" It was only after we walked away that we realized our son had on his Grumpy shirt...the fact that Jack could read a faded shirt that most probably wouldn't even comment on and just went with it was awesome!

So jack speaks then? That's exciting! My dd10 is creepily obsessed with them. I haven't told her they're going to be at mnsshp yet... She picked to be sally for the party How perfect

Same with my DSis (creepily obsessed fan, age 22). I'm trying to keep this a secret since she watches the movie every Halloween. So glad they're face characters! She'll have a ball interacting with them at our first MNSSHP. Thanks for uploading this, OP!

I must have caught the set after you - they came out about 5:15ish and I was first to meet them. Once she calmed down I got back in line with only 5 families in front of me.

Thank you! She managed to sleep through her M&G with Facilier and Jack Sparrow too. Too bad she doesn't sleep at night.

We can't wait to meet Jack and Sally! Fortunately they are also supposed to be meeting on the special Halloween cruises on the Dream also, so we're going to skip them at MNSSHP and wait to meet them on our cruise. It should make it easier to make the other M&Gs we want to go to, at least.

I also think there line will be longer but I would not be surprise to see the Dwarfs exclusive to MVMCP now that they have Jack & Sally for MNSSHP...

Expect the line to be VERY long. When they were at DTD last year we went on the 1st day they were there and got there at 5:15pm and we were about 25th in line, the M&G was at 6:00pm. But I saw where people waited 3 HOURS on the 1st day. They were spending a lot of time with people, I would say 4-5 mins per family. We got Character interaction, Individual pictures, group pictures, autographs, and photopass pictures. I read where they cut out Autographs and individual pictures on the other 2 days because of the large amount of people coming to see them. The 1st day no one had chairs, but the word got out so people brought chairs for the other days.
Now DTD is free and a party is not but I'm sure the lines will be close to 2 hours if I had to guess just by judging by the line for the 7 Dwarfs so if you are wanting to meet them, I would get line around 6 if possible.
