This is sort of Disney-adjacent. http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...are-before-christmas-bowl-20180904-story.html

Danny Elfman (composer and voice of Jack Skellington) will be doing the live version of The Nightmare Before Christmas at the Hollywood Bowl. It is a live orchestra, and he and some of the other original voices (the voice of Sally and Oogie Boogie are already confirmed) do the singing. It really is an awesome night, we did it 2 years ago and I'm planning again this year. In addition to the show, people dress in costume and they have trick or treating around the bowl.

It's on October 26 and 27, tickets on sale on Saturday morning (some presales on Friday). If you will be in the SoCal area and have one of those evenings off, I'd highly recommend it! But get your tickets early because it WILL sell out quickly!

I attended a few years ago, and I agree, it was so much fun.
Yeah, and the article says they are doing projection mapping on the bowl! I’m definitely going-now just need to find out which night is better for the family!

I want to do this some year. The Colorado Symphony accompanies the movie every year and we go to that. We've also seen them accompany A New Hope on the weekend closest to May the 4th :)
