Night safari at animal kingdom??

I have seen it mentioned that AK will have some night show starting in the summer? Can someone give me more info about it or share a link? Is it like fireworks or is it Kilamajaro safari at night? Does anyone know how much later AK will be closing because when we go the last week in August, it usually closes at 5pm. Thanks.

1. No. But, there will be an evening spectacular (no fireworks) added in addition to the evening safari.

3. Nobody knows. AK used to close later, and even used to offer PM EMH, so there is a history of AK closing at night.

I'm guessing that you're referring to the Rivers of light show, that they've been working on for the last 2 years or so.... Sorta kinda like a F! combined with a Colors of lights ( from DCA )... This will need to be later in the evening for this show, so hours will have to be changed, for when they will close....Once Avatarland is done, it''' have some more night time things to do.

Only rumor is Earth day right now, but that's strictly a rumor. No concrete info yet

Wow, I am so surprised that they are doing a nighttime event. When we are there in August AK closes at 5pm, now they will have to stay open until after 9pm if they have a nighttime light show.
