night owls...things to do?

Hubby and I tend to be night owls when we vacation and it looks like many of the nights we will be in WDW the parks close at 7 or 8 pm. Just wondering what else there is to do at night... (not drinkers...)

Many of the nights we have planned (MVMCP or there are EMH) and I know one night we will definitely just stay at the Polynesian and enjoy the atmosphere.

Is it possible to go to other resorts in the evening? Grand Floridian or Contemporary are on the monorail--how late does it run? If we are at Downtown Disney or Pleasure Island, how late do the buses run back to the Polynesian?

The monorail runs til 1hr. after park closings. Your best bet for nightlife is Downtown Disney. There's shopping, Disneyquest, a kind of indoor amusement park with hi tech games & activities, gets crowded at night. There is also Cirque de Soleil. A good choice for you may be the Adventurers Club. Imagine an old english hunting club populated by wildly eccentric characters who Interact with guests. Apparently the later it gets the more fun the place is. Buses return from DD to the resorts about every 20min til 2AM.

Another vote for Adventurer's Club! make sure you stay for a one hour minimum, and no, imbibing is not required (I think that's one club that's probably best enjoyed sober, when you'll remember it!).

Where is the Adventurer's club? DD? I've never heard of it, can someone fill me in as to what it is?

It is over at Pleasure Island. I have not been to it personally but have read it is a lot of fun. I have not been to PI in 10 years but I remember enjoying the comedy club over there too.

And Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk gets a lot of rave reviews too that I read. That sounds like a really fun place to go.

Adventurer's Club? OUTSTANDING!

We always make a point of getting there at least a few times during our vacations at Disney. It is fun meeting up with friends and enjoying the place and atmosphere.
