I just realized the day we are planning to go to MK, they are having NoJ that night.

What are the crowd levels like in the day?

I don't mind leaving at 7 bc we will have 2 little ones who wouldn't make it much later anyway (and we live in FL, won't be the first or last time we go).

I would imagine it's lower crowds just like party nights since most people don't want to go when there's shorter hours and in particular, no nighttime entertainment.

The crowds I have experienced the last few years have been really low. Most people don't want to go to a park they can't stay in until late at night.

We were there two years ago for Night of Joy on a Friday night. The crowds were wonderful throughout the day. We made a late BOG dinner reservation right around closing time. We were escorted out personally by the most wonderful cast member who walked us with her umbrella through the rain and danced in the puddles with my kids all the way down Main Street! It was a memorable experience. I think you'll enjoy the low crowds.

We are thinking about doing a CRT reservation that night as well, was it hard to get a res? I guess it's hard to compare...

At that time BOG was such a hard reservation to get. We actually had not planned on going that Friday because of it closing early but it was the only day that our travel agent could get us a reservation for BOG so we went with it and I'm really glad we did. We normally take a break during the day but on this one, we stayed until close and then went back to the hotel to swim and relax. I'm glad it worked out the way it did. We will be there again the same week as Night of Joy this year.

I'm kinda looking at the same but I'm wondering about the day before, crowd level is a 1 but says mk is the park to avoid. If I'm used to April-May crowds should I still avoid??
I always do mk first day so idk what to do
