Night lights in the bathrooms

We're on the Fantasy in June (less than one MONTH!!). Are there regular outlets in the bathrooms for nightlights?

Although I saw a tip about using battery-operated tea lights instead and like this idea, as well.

There are outlets for it, but we use the Wave phones charing they give off light. In fact to get it pitch black we put something on them.

Just got off the Fantasy yesterday. There are no outlets at all in the bathrooms so no place to plug-in my night light. Hated that! I hate to turn the big light on during the night. We lucked out and one of the FE gifts we got was a utility knife that had a little pen light on it. We left that on the counter in the bathroom so we could use it during the night. Next time I will bring a battery operated night light!

There is an outlet in the split bath with the sink and shower. It is on the ceiling.

There is no outlet in the split bath with the toilet. Unfortunately that's the one where you need the nightlight.

We did see that outlet on the ceiling, but my husband tried it and said it was a weird type and regular stuff wouldn't plug into it. He may be wrong, it happens fairly frequently! ;) I couldn't reach it to try! Like you said though it is in the shower side, not the toilet side so wouldn't be great for a night light.

Mhconley has it right. We were on the Fantasy just a few weeks ago. We always bring a battery powered night light for the bathroom with the toilet. In our case its a book reading light which has a clamp on the end so we can clip it to a rack and keep it out of the way.

We usually leave the light on in the bathroom and just crack the door.

It's a universal "shaver" plug. There are three holes (that are oddly shaped to accept multiple plug types); the using the left hole and the center hole will provide 110-115v power that could work with a night light. Using the right and center hole, you'll get 220-240v power for European shavers.

The output of those outlets is supposed to be very small (possibly as little as 220mA vs a standard 15A outlet in your house), so depending on how much power the night light draws, you might blow the fuse. I would think one of these limelight nightlights might work.

Or you could dispense with the outlet altogether and use something like this magnetic night light; it should stick to the back of the door.

I thought it was the ground.... never suspected it was the amperage. Anyways, they work great when charging my phones.

When I was on the Wonder 2 years ago... my cabin oceanview cabin has two shaver outlets in the bathroom.

If you look closely at the photo, you'll see the words "Shavers Only" on that outlet. I wouldn't risk plugging anything else in there...

We had the same problem on our cruise. Brought a plug in night light for the bathroom because we didn't want to leave the bathroom light on, only to find no plug in the bathroom.

Luck was on our side though. The first night, we stopped in the Skyline bar for a mixed drink and some of them had a "Light up ice cube," red and blue soft lights like a lot of night lights these days. And they were free with the drink, so we took that back to the room, put it on the sink by the toilet, and we were all set!

We used little battery operated tea light from dollar tree. they were perfect.

Great idea. I just read about bringing these on Cruise Critic and even a couple of bigger ones for "ambiance" in the room.

The glow sticks are a genius idea! I may have to bring some on our Viking cruise.
On our Adventures by Disney Danube River cruise (AmaWaterways) the bathrooms actually had a blue, motion sensitive night light. SUCH a good idea!!

Our restroom in the library has one of those. I want one in my home bathrooms LOL. No more worrying about leaving the light on!
