Night life in downtown Orlando?

I'm not talking about DTD but Orlando itself. Haven't heard about comedy clubs, great restaurants or dance clubs (can't actually dance right now but still love the scene). So, what exciting places are there to see "uptown"?

We had a nice evening at CityWalk in 2007. We went to the comedy show at one of the clubs. We'd planned on going dancing at CityWalk but DH broke his foot a few weeks before our trip and dancing was on his "don't" list.

Kress Chophouse is good. Ember, Hue, 310 Lakeside, Citrus, Dexters are all good as well.

When you say nightlife, do you mean club or bar/wine bar, etc?

I can tell you one of the funnest bars we've gone to in just about any city is a dueling piano bar in Orlando (they're a chain, in other cities as well by the way) called Howl at the Moon. Especially fun later in the evening when they start playing some of the more..."randy" songs to put it politely! The Orlando one is located right near the Convention Center. Very very fun!!
