I'm sure most of you that have been online for a while have heard of the scam being run by con artists in Nigeria. For those that haven't I have included a link to a story that was on the CNN website this morning. I personally recieved two e-mails just this past week from "Nigerian businessmen" asking me to join them in recovering some money they were owed. I was already well aware of the scam and simply deleted the e-mails. I thought I would post here so no one on the DIS gets taken for a ride by these people.

Yep, I got one of those a while back too.

Those people lost $400,000, just goes to show you what greed will get you.

I get a lot of these e-mails. One was addressed to "Dear Sir or Madam." Man, make up your mind! Another one was "Dear (insert name)." Gee, how personal! They went straight into trash. :)

DH and I have gotten several of these e-mails. I can't believe that anybody would actually fall for that.

I don't bother to open that garbage.......that is what the "delete" button is for......
