Has anyone ever seen her show? Have you made any of her recipes?

I watched her Chefography on FoodTv and was just amazed at the life she has led.

I hadn't ever heard of her before and wondered if anyone has a fav. recipe of hers.

thanks!

HC

Have a look on uktvfood.co.uk (I think that's the link) - lots of her recipes are available there. I have one of her recipe books, and use it for her chicken soup recipe. I also use her easy latkes recipe as they're good to make ahead and reheat for parties. She has a "rainy day biscuits (cookies)" recipe which is yummy too, but I have seen easier cookie recipes.

I haven't tried a lot of her recipes, but we do like the apple & blackberry kuchen.
I prefer to cut down on the apple & add raspberries.
the 'Aromatic Lamb Shank Stew' is good, too!
Trying out her creme brulee recipe tonite

Mmm for the Watermelon Daiquiri recipe!
Now we keep frozen watermelon on hand! ;)

Does her chicken soup have a lot of flavor? I tried another chef's recipe for his soup and I must say it was awful. Terribly bland.

The apple and blackberry kuchen sounds wonderful then you mentioned the rasperries. I picked up some blackberries and the raspberries the other day and they are the absolutely best I have ever had in my life! We just moved to this area and the produce is just wonderful.

The watermelon daiquiri sounds great too. We love watermelon.

Thanks! I will check out the recipes.

The chicken soup is a Jewish-style recipe and quite flavoursome - its best if you use a really good (free range) chicken. As its hard to get boiling fowl these days she recommends taking off the breast and thigh meat part-way through cooking so it doesn't dry out, and if there's not enough flavour adding a good glug of liquid chicken stock. her matzo dumplings are excellent!

This is a bit OT, but I use Tyler Florence's recipe for Ultimate Chicken Noodle Soup and I think it has a lot of flavor. Last night I made it, but added lots of extra homemade noodles so that it wasn't 'soup', but just 'chicken and noodles.' YUM!

oooh! Soundls lovely. Could you post it please - DS(7) loves noodles but so far I can only get him to eat them plain buttered, not with anything added. he also won't eat soup so this could be a good start...

She has a recipe for a watermelon, red onion, kalamata olive, and feta cheese salad that I make a lot in the summer. I know it sounds super weird, but the flavors work well together.
