Hi all. Just wanted to know your thoughts and reviews of this hotel. I am planning a quick trip in August and was planning on getting a ressie for a night or two. Was it worth the money? Can you spend all day at the water park there? It will just by my 9 yr old and myself. Hubby is deployed! : (

Thanks for any input you are willing to share. Pam

My kids love the place. Go to travelocity to book rez. They have $79 rates
in August. You can spend the whole day for sure!

Thanks for the info Dismomm. But I could only find the rate for $140 a night on Travelocity. Any hints?

Post the dates you want to travel. The travelocity seems to be from Aug 15-31 only. It changes every few days. There are several specials on the nick
home page. They even have military rates. I love trying to get the lowest prices. I'd be happy to give it a whirl tonight with your dates. If you call their 800# you can also ask for any unadvertised rates. Calling back and talking to someone else also never hurts. When you post the dates let me know if you are flexible.

Thanks so much . I did do some looking and saw the bargain dates being offered from Aug 15-on. I was hoping to get home that weekend. I am planning on getting there Aug. 8 and then check into an on site Disney hotel on Wednesday Aug. 13. I also want to do a few days at Universal. So much to do in a week! so really any date from Aug 9 thru the 12th. I know, not much time. I did see the FL resident rate of $140 and the military is a bit more. I may just suck it up. I am heading off the the base on Thursday to see what they have too. Thanks again Dismomm.

The great thing about Nick Hotel is that you never have to leave the hotel. My 9 year old DS thinks its the greatest. He was happy in the pool all day. They have kids crafts by the pool (purchase the activity - one day it was a tshirt and fabric markers - still wears it) At 3 there is a poolside show that starts with games and such. At 4PM there is a mass sliming. The Nick shows are at night. A wonderful restful vacation. Have fun.
