Nick Hotel Question

To anyone who has stayed at the Nick Hotel, I was wondering if the Playstation system in the room comes with 2 controllers, or if I needed to pack an extra controller? If there were 2, that would be one less thing I would have to worry about packing (I have 2 kids that would want to play together)

Are you leaving to come home on Sunday? Are you flying to EWR?

We are coming home on the 12th to LGA.

I almost switched last minute to Nick hotel, I saw that they had a last minute special, but really like the Cypress Villa (the wash machine, & full kitchen)

We are starting to pack getting very excited!!!

We are leaving EWR early Sun. morning and coming home on the 12th to EWR.
We are flying JetBlue, but paying high price for flights, because I waited until April until they released their Nov. flights. Next time I think I'll grab Continental's flights if their fares are good when first released in Jan.

The kids are really excited about going to Nick Hotel!!
I have to start packing.

I stayed there recently, and there was only one controller in our room. I've only stayed there once, so I don't know if that might have been a fluke, but packing an extra might not be a bad idea.

I also had another question. To those staying there recently, how was the bus transportation?

We had 2 controllers on our game system when we were there in August. We have never used the system since we don't spend much time in the room. I am sure they can get you a second one if you need it. I have never used the bus system, we always rent a car so we are on our own time schedule. I think the bus system though runs on specific times (limited) and you need to sign up ahead of time if I remember correctly. You may want to call and check on that. They have an 800 number that won't cost you to call. Enjoy your stay, I am very jealous - I want to go back SO BAD!!!!

it's a PS2. we've only used it as a DVD player, so I'm forgetting whether or not games are available.

You rent the games in the arcade at the mall. I think if I remember correctly they were $5 for a night but don't quote me on that.

The kids loved the hotel. Actually, I liked it too. I had low expectations because of some negative reviews, but the room was really nice. The bus service was good; even though the buses came hourly, at least we could plan exactly what time to be there for the bus, as opposed to Disney where you just wait around until next bus comes. The kids loved the pool area, and we went to 3 of the night time shows, and even got picked to participate in one of the shows. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, and ate all of our other meals in the parks. We went to both Disney and Universal. How about you? Did you have a good trip?

We left really early on Thurs out of LGA in NY. We were in the pool by noon. We spent Friday in all 3 parks, we ended in the Magic Kingdom. MK was really empty about 10:00 PM we stayed until closing.

Saturday, we took advantage of all of the activities in the Cypress Point Villa. We had so much fun.

Sunday, did a time share presentation with the Cypress Point early in the AM for 90 minutes. We received $150.00 each.

We played golf swam & returned our thrifty rent a car. We had to be at the airport for our 3:15 flight. I have never seen the airport so.....crazy. Every flight seemed to be oversold, & they were pulling people off the flights. I told my DD's school, that she would not be in school until Tuesday, & took advantage of the bump

1 We were given $400.00 "Each" in Delta
travel vouchers to be used within one year time (can transfer to anyone)

2 Hotel vouchers for Hyatt airport hotel (Magnificent)

3. $21.00 each in meal vouchers (can be used anywhere in the airport including the Hyatt)

4. Delta overnight kits (many toiletries & Delta tee shirt)

5. Was re-booked the next morning Monday the 13th to MCO to MIA (1hr.) then MIA to LGA
"First Class" 2 1/2 hr. Flight.

5. Voucher for town car transportation from LGA to Jersey

I am, now packing for we are leaving this Sunday for the Vistana Sheridan, & then off to the Wonder for Thansgiving. It will be my DH's first cruise. There are 18 of us traveling.

I can hardly wait.

When we were there in August, there were two controllers. We brought games from home, and I think the kids played for all of 30 minutes the whole week we were there.

As for the busses, here is the Disney bus schedule, and here is the Universal & Sea World Schedule.

For Disney the busses seem to be every hour, less frequent for US and Sea World. We only went to US while we were there and decided to drive instead of use the bus.
