Nick Hotel-Can my kids play in the pools before 4 check in

Check in is not until 4. Can I see if a room is ready earlier in the day...like 10 and if not have the hotel hold my bags and can my kids use the facilites or do I have to wait until official 4 o clock check in. I'm going in Oct. a slow month I think if that makes a difference.

We stayed at the Nick Hotel in December. I called and asked if we could use the pool if the room was not ready and was informed that we could. At the registration desk, they give everyone a wrist band to wear for the length of stay.

Thanks, I was thinking that I might have to change my schedule. Is there some place my kids can change in case the room is not ready and they're ready to get out tof the pool. Like I know at Universal there's the "gym" that have bathrooms in them.

We stayed there before the renovations to the Nick Hotel and when it was HIFS they definitely let us use the pool and other ammenities while waiting for our room.

We packed the kids suits in a backpack to keep them handy and there were restrooms in the lobby that were convenient for changing. There are probably more out near the pool as well. There were towels out at the pool area at that time but I had brought two not knowing. I think most hotels are like this - at least where we have stayed.

They offered to store our luggage for us and invited us to check out the facilities while we waited for our room. It's pretty common to arrive earlier in the day so most places try to accomodate you in some way.


You can always call and confirm but I would be surprised if they said no. Have a great time.

Almost all hotels will let you use the pools and such on your check-in day. Even if your room is not ready. It's good to see others have found this to be consistent at the Nick Hotel.
