Hi everyone,
I haven't been to Orlando in ages and am tentatively planning a quick stop off (non-Disney) as part of a southern road trip. We were tentatively looking at spending a night at the Nickelodeon Hotel, mostly for the experience, then moving on.
Two questions though. First, is it still as bad as I've heard? It seems like people either love it or hate it, but hearing about the grime in the rooms worries me.
The other thing is that we'd be looking to get slimed when we stay. I know there's the big bucket of green water at the pool, but has anyone tried the ultimate slime experience thing or the poolside slimings? If so, how does it work and is it worth the money?

The mass sliming is once a day at the pool and free. The big water bucket pours out green water. My kids thought that was fabulous. Also they do a poolside double dare and a show inside. Also free. The poolside show they pick kids at random and dump green water on them at the end. The inside show, you need to get tickets in the morning for but it is free. They again pick random people and the winner gets slimed with real slime.
