nick family suites??

we are splitting our stay between por and nick suites in oct, can someone please tell me we will be happy at the nick hotel?? i really know nothing about it except it is newly redone and we have a spongebob room, any feed back would be great!!

We were just there over the Labor Day weekend. Our kids absolutely loved it. They loved their own room and loved the pool. I enjoyed the pool, even though it was very crowded. It was nice having our room separate from the kids.

The entry point isn't really planned well. We were able to get in right away, but one point when we left to go eat at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, cars were lined up waiting to get in. Wasn't impressed with "The Mall".

All in all, the kids are clamoring to stay there again, but I don't know if we will again. I just wasn't all that impressed with it to be paying over $200/night.

I can tell you to try to eat someplace else except for the food court while you are there. I have a really good friend that is a supervisor there at the food court and that place is a disaster area. They are always firing people and not hiring new ones, in the evenings and weekends if they are lucky to have employees they are mostly 16 year olds that don't care. You have to wait 2 hours for a pizza at Pizza Hut and sometimes 30 plus minutes in line for a coffee at Barnies. The managers are basically running the different take out places with no employees. The buffet is no better. The food is poorly prepared, mostly boil in bag stuff and overpriced. The pool and water slides are awesome, the best I have ever seen, but definately if you stay there do yourself a favor and find someplace else to eat.
