Hey folks! Needing help from the experts. Having a 50th anniversary supper. Looking at about $25.00 and up for entrees. Where to you suggest?

Thanks!

How about Pizzeria Mozza (Newport Beach location, not Hollywood)? Celebrity owners (Mario Batali and Nancy Silverton), great food (unique pizzas in the sort-of-Neopolitan style and delicious appetizers), good wine list, patio seating. Reservations a must. We've been to the Hollywood location many times and love it every time.
Does it have to be in Newport Beach? You might want to look at the restaurants at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, the Montage in Laguna, the St. Regis in Laguna. Also Napa Rose, if eating on the DLR property is an option. Mr. Stox in Anaheim is very nice in the traditional style. The Ranch in Anaheim is new and has former members of the Napa Rose team on staff.

Napa Rose is one of the best restaurants in OC.
I haven't been to this Pizzeria Mozza but did go to the one on Melrose and it was very good.
The 5 Crowns in Corona Del Mar (near Newport) is a Lawry's place that specializes in prime rib and has a nice old English tavern atmosphere - so a bit more romantic.
What kind of food do you like?
