What a tragedy! I just read that the driver is suspected of being under the influence, and when the car in front of him moved over to make room to pass the bicycles, he passed that car on the right and hit the bicyclists.

I read the wedding was supposed to be this afternoon in Philadelphia. According to the wedding website. The rehearsal was last night.

This happened 2 hours from me so heard about it many times today, this is incredibly tragic. Two young men, brothers, sons, husbands, a father of young children, lives forever changed due to a drunk driver.

This is why I always refer to drunk drivers as attempted murderers. There is no other word for it. And now, in this case, an actual murderer.
