Hmm. Rope drop is looking close to impossible today... Everyone is still out cold!

NHKristy76 said:My DD and I also had some fun calling the phone booths in the UK area. That was quite a hoot!
Thanks for following along everyone! I feel my trip slipping through my fingers and I wish I could slow it down! We are having such a great time!

Hope you're having a great time and bus service improves! Good luck with the weather, maybe it will cool off a little for you...but any day at WDW is a great day!!
NHKristy76 said:Absolutely! We are doing MK today as we figure the other parks are a little easier to do in the rain. But I'm in WDW and even if it rains, I'm happy!
Arrived back at the hotel this afternoon to find 2 letters from BC management.
#1 says that the Stone Harbor Club will be closed for refurbishment beginning tomorrow, August 27th. No end date is given. While the refurbishment is being done guests will use the Presidential Suite as the club lounge.
#2 says that they will be replacing carpets throughout the resort from 10am-5pm beginning Monday.
So add these to the closures of Hurricane Hanna's and the gym and you've got a hotel that's missing a lot of its amenities... It's interesting to me that they would plan all of this at once.
Another great day today despite the icky weather! We ran around Magic Kingdom today with about a billion other people. We did Big Thunder, Small World, Pirates, Tiki Room, all of Tomorrowland, and Hall of Presidents.
The waits were manageable despite the size of the crowds.
We also had a yummy lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern before heading back to our hotel.
In the evening we headed out to World Showcase. I absolutely LOVE being able to walk to Epcot!!! We wandered around a bit before watching the American Adventure show. Afterwards we tried to walk into Napoli but that was not happening! We ended up at Tokyo Dining and the meal was great with even better service!
We walked back to BC and I seriously contemplated taking my daughter swimming but thought better of it at the last minute. We are pretty tired so I'm afraid that might have pushed her right off the edge!
We had some tasty desserts in the CL. This is our first ever experience with CL and I think we've all fell in love with it! The staff are so friendly and even though the room is small, we are not having trouble finding seats.
One of the CMs at the CL desk told my husband that she thinks the majority of the rain will pass by tonight and predicts we should be in a good spot by mid morning. I'm hoping she's right because tomorrow is our last full day and I've got stuff to do!!!
As a side note, I have pretty much convinced my husband that we should come back to WDW alone in Dec to celebrate our anniversary!
The sad bus (ME) picks us up at 3:30pm tomorrow so we are going to make the best of our last dew hours...
I just can't shake the feeling that I should be out there running around tonight... Am I crazy?
We are fairly certain that we'll be coming down just the 2 if us in early Dec... I'm almost ready to book the WL!
We've already got plane tix and rooms booked for our Jan trip. That trip is at the ASMovies because we're traveling with my parents, my step sister, and my sister and her family. I haven't stayed in a value resort for awhile and I've totally turned into a total snob! Oops!
We are currently waiting for a late night seating at Cape May Cafe. We hadn't planned on this but we were able to get a spot via walk up. Although my DH is not thrilled that we are still waiting...

Enjoy your dinner. Hope you are now seated! You can tell your DH that it is not TOO late until you start to see Minnie and Goofy in their beach attire and bagels on the buffet.
