AFC WC #2: Indianapolis def. Kansas City

NFC WC #1: Dallas def. Seattle
NFC WC #2: Philadelphia def. NY Giants

AFC Div #1: San Diego def. New England
AFC Div #2: Baltimore def. Indianapolis

NFC Div #1: Chicago def. Dallas
NFC Div #2: New Orleans def. Philadelphia

AFC Champ: San Diego def. Baltimore

Winner gets a cookie or something... and pride... :cheer2: :woohoo: :thumbsup2

I think you're about right, though I'd pick Indy to beat Baltimore but still lose to San Diego and Seattle to beat Dallas but still lose to Chicago.

I LOVE the fact that you have New Orleans in the Super Bowl...:cheer2: but you gotta have the boys in black & gold take it all the way!

I really don't think anybody in the NFC can beat the Bears at home, but it likley doesn't matter. IMO it's another year where the AFC beats any team that makes it to the Super Bowl anyway.

I tend to agree with you, BUT they still have to play the games and the AL was so much better than the NL this year and the Cards still won the WS. That shocked me more than an NFC team winning one game against an AFC team in the Superbowl would.

BTW, regarding a couple light hearted questions of your picks...

Do you really think that Indy is going to stop the KC running attack? Indy couldn't stop Mickey Mouse right now!!

Chicago defeating Dallas? Now I know this isn't the Dallas team of years ago, but did you see Rex Grossman/Brian Griese this past game. They stink!

MC

**Go Pats, even though I don't think they'll get by Baltimore. I do think they'll beat San Diego as I don't have a ton of confidence in Rivers at QB....young guy, first playoff game....They will have a tough time stopping LT, but I think they pull out the win.

As I stated in my post, I would be really nervous if I were a Bears fan. Their QB situation is a nightmare with Grossman getting pulled after the first half the other night and Griese coming in and putting up disasterous numbers. They are probably the worst 13-3 team I have ever seen!

Oddly enough everything I heard was the AL was better than the NL, except for the Cards. Really. What I heard all year was that if the Cards got healthy, they could beat anybody.

My opinion on the AFC/NFC comes down to who plays the best every week. If the same system was AFC vs. NFC the whole way I think very few NFC teams would be favored. It clearly would be an all AFC Super Bowl IMO.

:lmao: How they have that record is a mystery to me.

I agree but I see the Colts simply outscoring every team except San Diego and Chicago doing the opposite (barely beating others in defensive battles) at home in the cold.

Bingo. As bad as the Colts' Defense has been, the Offense has been that GOOD - even in a couple of the games they lost.

Here are mine:

AFC WC #1: New York Jets def. New England Patriots
AFC WC #2: Indianapolis Colts def. Kansas City Chiefs

NFC WC #1: Seattle Seahawks def. Dallas Cowboys
NFC WC #2: Philadelphia Eagles def. New Jersey Giants

AFC Div #1: San Diego Chargers def. New York Jets

NFC Div #1: Chicago Bears def. Philadelphia Eagles
NFC Div #2: New Orleans Saints def. Seattle Seahawks

AFC Champ: San Diego Chargers def. Indianapolis Colts

NFC Champ: Chicago Bears def. New Orleans Saints

Super Bowl: Chicago Bears def. San Diego Chargers

That how I see the playoff turning out.
