Next time I go to WDW I am......

I am going to finally see SpectroMagic!!

...It will be during the week before Christmas, and we're going to dedicate an early evening to go "looping".

That is, taking the launch over to Fort Wilderness, renting bikes and going around the various loops of campsites. Checking out all of the incredible Xmas decorations those folks come up with year after year, and hopefully meeting some very kind people along the way.

:goodvibes

... going to eat more ice cream cookies sandwiches from the MK bakery, spend more time in AK and actually watch the parade (for some reason we never stay there past 1:00 :confused3), and go to the resorts to check out the Christmas decorations. We are going there for Christmas and I can't wait!! :goodvibes

I love this thread.

I think y'all will have a better time if you take some of the stress away.

I hope y'all have awesome vacations.

...gonna spend less time frantically planning absolutely EVERYTHING, and just focus on the big stuff.

...gonna spend more time in the details rather than running from attraction to attraction.

...gonna eat at the Cali Grill and watch Wishes from the balcony no matter what! :)

My next trip is in June, with my boyfriend who has never been to Disneyworld before!

I hope I can just experience the magic through his eyes, since he has never seen it before, especially the fireworks and Toy Story Mania! Do all the little shows I never get to see with my E ticket obsessed parents (well dad, mom is much better)! Just taking time to smell the roses!

I also can't wait to do Universal again, it's been so long! This time I am definitely wearing a poncho on Popeye!

...take the time to visit Ft. Wilderness. Never been there, always hear about it. Even doing breakfast at Trails End (if we figure out how to get there). We do at least one new restaurant each trip, this time we are hitting The Wave, Trails End & Tokyo Dining. Not rushing anywhere!!:dance3:

Be thankful to be there and enjoy the smiles on my kids faces, because nothing says Disney like seeing it through the eyes of a child.

The next time I go to Disney (12/3/09) I am going to enjoy the company of my friend. My last two trips have been solo trips, so I am looking forward to a ride buddy! Although, I have to say that I love being solo. I wake up when I want to, ride what I want, when I want and take everything at my pace.

going to see Fantasmic. I've done thirteen trips and still haven't managed to see it.

If you can, try to reserve the Fantasmic dinner package which will guarantee you "pretty good" seats for the show.

Failing that, get there as early as possible.

Have fun ! It really IS as magical as you've heard. We LUV it ! :goodvibes

I see a common thread amongst a lot of us Dis fans, trying to do it all because we love it all. I too want to slow it down, manage ADR's better, do the attractions we have skipped, and check out the hidden gems in the shops. My plan:

*still get to the parks at opening and have a touring plan for the highlights and favorites in the morning

*plan at least half of my table service ADR's for the late lunch hour and not in the evening (this gets so rushed when we want to make the evening entertainment!)

*we always tour in the morning and head back to the resort/pool in the afternoon, it helps my DH and I slow down (type A) and then we are refreshed for the evening. Staying up later is getting easier with the kids being 10, 7, and 5 now, no need for naps, etc.

*Missed Attractions we want to see: Hall of Pres., Tom Sawyer Island, Swiss Family, Country Bear, TTA, One Man's Dream, the Animation attraction at HWS, Muppets (I know!), the EPCOT country attractions, Innoventions (?-maybe), Flights of Wonder, all the trails at AK, Rafiki's Planet Watch (heard it's like a field trip?), Kali River (end of the day), Jammin Jungle Parade (we never stay that late- terrible), Nemo Musical

*I did take a lot more pictures of signs, flowers, cast members, store fronts, etc. last time and I love having that detail to bring home to my scrapbook

*I have considered NOT doing the dining plan and only doing 1 or 2 ADR's and doing more counter service and enjoying the snacks more, I think it might really free up our pace, any thoughts? I'm afraid we would miss the eating, but I am willing to give it a try.

Thanks for reading, I love the Diser's and the Crew!
