Going to relax more, eat less, have less ADR's, people watch more, eat more mickey ice cream bars, do what I want, see what I want, when I want. I guess a solo trip needs to be taken.:lmao:

....going to take my kids to see The Hall of Presidents. In all of our trips they have never been to HOP. For that matter, I don't know if DH has ever seen it, I remember going when I was young but maybe not since then.

That is exactly what Bob and I did on this last trip. We had a super time! We even gave up an ADR to Le Cellier because we just felt like hanging out with friends instead.
And you better believe I had a Mickey ice cream bar for breakfast. TWICE!

That is why I like going solo. You can do what you want when you want to.

I love solo trips. I have been solo the last two marathon weekends I came down for and when I lived in Tampa I went by myself all the time. I also only make one ADR per trip, Boma. I have found that the trips are much more enjoyable when you aren't trying to work around ADRs. The food just isn't all that big of a deal for me. I can eat anywhere on Earth, I go to WDW for the attractions. I don't go peak season or during free dining and am willing to eat at nonstandard times so I have found it pretty painless to just walk up to TS restaurants.

As an example, marathon weekend 2008 I walked up to Biergarten, Tusker House, San Angel Inn, and Crystal Palace. The longest wait I had was 15 minutes at Biergarten.

Love it!!! Next time I am going to spend more time at the pool, try to stay at a deluxe (rent points), eat at Narccossee's and venture over to Universal for the first time. Now if only this trip was happening soon...

The next time I go, I'm running my first WDW half Marathon!
Oh and I just have to try T-Rex for myself:goodvibes

Let my DD sleep in one day so we can actually see the fireworks at night. Try to remember that we go every year so we don't need to rush and try to do everything each and every trip.

going to be there and just be happy!

During our honeymoon, my wife and I were at Epcot one day towards the end of our vacation and we were tired. So we decided to sit down on a bench along the walk way to World Showcase from Future world near the Fountain of nations. It was great we just people watched and sat there for about an hour and a half.

I am making a list of all the attractions I have never been on and all the shows I have never seen. So then I can finally say I have seen/done everything! On the list so far:
Tom Sawyer Island
Swiss Family Treehouse
Kali River Rapids
Movies in China and France
Indiana Jones & Lights Motor Action

Short list, but still things I haven't seen!

The next time I go to WDW is 2 weeks from today - solo. :yay: I will enjoy grazing at the Food and Wine Festival, and I'll see as many sets of Off Kilter as I want!

I'm going to WDW with a friend in December, and it will be a nice change to have a roommate. I admit that I am greedy about my Epcot park time, now that I'm a senior citizen, so I'll have to make some compromises! :lmao:

The next time I go to WDW in 10 days!!!!:hippie: I am
going to my daughters wedding at the wedding pavillion----very excited!
I am going to sit back and enjoy having my whole family together is WDW.
I want to remember those happy faces for ever:dance3:

i am going to - try and relax more, take in the details and let go of my commando ways all the time. see HOP (we keep missing it too). I am giong to take the time to stop and let my DS enjoy those little things he wants to (like playing in fountains, on the light pathways etc.), instead of rushing everyone to keep on 'schedule'. i will try new restaurants! i will spend some time by the pool!

How special! Enjoy every moment :wizard:

a disney wedding does sound great! Enjoy.:goodvibes

The next time we are going to spend more time in epcot. We never get to go there enough. Our last trip in august I hurt my back so we had to look for a chiropractor & spend some time there in the office getting me better.
I think we may also do the kim possible thing. My son & I were watching a family doing a little of it & it looked like lots of fun.

the last time we went we saw the nemo show in ak-loved it!

...gonna remind myself that no matter how crowded and hot the parks are, or how tired I am, it feels good to be back.

Make all the park openings so can go to the E ticket rides first thing so then can relax and see all the other things that don't have time to see. No table service so not tied down to an ADR. Take a nap in afternoon so can enjoy the parks in the evening without being exhausted

The next time I go to WDW I am going to...

- relax more and just soak up the positives and not worry about what I "have to" get done. I'm going to watch that DISer's video of his family on vacation before I go (the one with "Life is a Highway" as the song they sing). It always reminds me to keep it cool and just enjoy being there.

- eat lots and lots of MK popcorn! I swear it is laced with liquid crack! ;)

- have lunch with a Disney Imagineer. We can't wait and already have it booked!

I am going to see the attractions I skipped before, eat at places I have never been, and meet Stitch! And hopefully ride Splash Mountain more than once. I love that ride!!!
