NEX 5/3 Owners-Upgrading to the 5N or 7?

Just curious to see which way the wind is blowing with the rest of you. I love my 60D but my NEX 5K serves a purpose too.

Title says it all. I'm just wondering if the bug is biting anybody else. Are you going to upgrade to the 5N? Buying a viewfinder for it (OUCH!)? Go to the 7 since it reportedly includes the viewfinder if you can ever get one? Just hang tight for now?

What'cha gonna do? I got an itch (My wife says it's chronic! ) and want to scratch it. Should I?

I just ordered a white 5n from the Sony Store and it should be here Friday. The Nex will be used alongside my D5100. I already have an adapter to use my 35/1.8 and fisheye on the Nex.

I'm extremely tempted - the NEX-5N plays into exactly the very few wishes I have for improving my NEX3...including the EVF which is the biggest selling factor of all. I've held back for now, only because the EVF availability is thin to none, due to shortages from the Thailand flooding - until I can buy the 5N and EVF together, I'll keep using the NEX3. The NEX7 is a different tool than I'm personally looking for - my DSLR still serves primary duty, so the larger NEX7 body with increased controls and dense sensor just don't play into the primary purpose of the NEX system for me, which is compactness to act as a second high-quality body to my DSLR, and occasional stand-in when needing to travel lighter. Most likely, I'll have a NEX-5N sometime in the near future.

I just bought the 5n last night. I havent had a chance to play with it yet, so I cant really comment too much, but it seems really cool (hope it lives up to expectations!)

Already done. I upgraded from the NEX 3 to the NEX 5N just before our trip to WDW the second week of Nov.

I decided to see if the camera gave me all that I had hoped before adding the EVF and it did not disappoint. And the EVF was available then! But I will be buying it when I can find it. The improved sensor, controls with touchscreen (so nice!), faster fps, higher ISO, Electronic first curtain shutter and remote commander capability were things I wanted to give me a more complete camera for my use. I like that the option is there for an adapter to use all my A-mount in autofocus but have not decided it is something I definitely will purchase.

I did think that maybe I should just be purchasing the NEX 7 instead because it has the viewfinder built in however in the end I did not want another camera with huge files at this time. I have not regretted for a second doing the upgrade even though I loved my NEX 3.
