News Years Eve Park Entrance - Any Trouble????

Hi,

Thinking of booking a flight leaving UK 31 December 2006, arriving at CDG at 15:00, so will have time to make it to park for new years celebrations. Does anyone have any experience of the visiting on New Years eve, do we need special tickets? We have annual passes, do you think we will be able to walk in at 18:00/19:00? We plan top make a reservation to eat in the resort (Blue Lagoon - yum yum!).

Your help is very very appreciated.

I don’t think you will not have any trouble getting in the park although it will be very very busy.Half Paris is in the park.
You probably will not get a chance to use the fast passes. By the time you arrive they will be “sold out” for the evening.
Its still e very wonderful experience.

Have been twice for New Year and it's been amazing each time, although both times we were in the park all day so don't know what it's like to get in later on

What happens generally on NYE? I presume fireworks at midnight? Any other special shows/parades? Are the crowds very mad? Does it go quiet on New Year's Day or is it still the same for a few days? Can you actually ride anything, or are the queues just too bad? Can I ask any more questions????

Yes it is slightly more busy than any other time i have been, but not unbearable really - not to mention the park is open for soooo long on New Years Eve that you can really make the most of it! Hoping to book my trip for this time tonight when i get home from work, right now my year 10s are lookin at me very funnily as i play about on the computer in class
