I just heard from a source at the WDW Disney Club office:

Tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party go on sale MONDAY, AUGUST 13th at 7:00 am.

Get your fingers ready.......

For Disney Club Members only:

Dial: 1-800-933-3975 They will take orders for tickets.

Others have to go through the usual toll calls.

Steve, You are AWESOME!!!

Thank you for this info.

I'll be setting the alarm Monday (the 13th) morning. ;)

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

For those of you who know, how soon will these tickets sell out? Should we make sure we call on the 13th? Can't wait!!!

Hi Jody,

Last year when I went (it was a weekday) there were still tickets available until 5 days before the event. However, if you want to go during a weekend, I'm betting you'll have a little more trouble if you wait too long. The weekday that I went eventually sold out, and it was a zoo. But I still had a great time.

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

BTW: other people have apparently called the Disney Club line, and they are still officially denying any knowledge of the sell date, but the woman I talked to volunteered the information, so I'm betting it's reliable.

Do you mean that you didn't beat it out of her? LOL ;)

Reliable or not.....I'm calling on the 13th........worse case scenerio......I have to call again. No biggy! :D

Nah, I buttered her up and told her she had a beautiful name (Summer Rose), and the rest was easy! :D

:D ;) Steve!
I'll be calling on the 13th, too. We'll see what happens then!

Just read a post on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board.
The price for pre-ordered tickets is $34.98 per adult and $24.38 per child aged 3-9. If wait until you arrive at Disney to purchase the tickets, the price is $40.28 per adult and $29.68 per child. All prices include tax but there is a $3.00 fee to have the tickets mailed to you.

LOL, Steve!!!!

you're good at this flirting thingie!!!;)

Now, which MVMCP are ya'll wanting to attend???

I wanna get tickets that are the same dates as ya'll!:bounce:

BT, we're going to the Dec. 2 party. We're all trying to eat at the Crystal Palace before the party, too. So, if you would like to do that, we'd love to have you join us. The more the merrier!! :D :D

OKie tay!!!:D

Now, I call on the 13th to get MVMCP for Dec 2nd and when do I call for CP ?
Or will one of us call and get one large table?

Add 3 here!
2 adults, 1 10yo DS !!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

 Hi BT.

I think we can make a PS for up to 21 people, so what I am thinking, is that if we can get a pretty good idea of how many people are going to try to make it, we can make some fairly big PS's. But I also think we should all just make our own. Any ideas?

BT, you should know that there is a group going on Friday night and I think Dan Murphy (possibly others) plans to go Thursday night. Which ever works for you. :)

Thanks Sandra for the prices :) I had no idea how much they were....ouch!!! Oh well, we gotta do what we gotta do. :D

Ok, I are getting confused (nothing new there ;)). Are we doing one big massive table-thingie at the CP, or are we doing individual tables. I have down that I was going to try to get a table for 6 around 4:30 or 5:00, but if they can do one big party, that be cool too.

;) Sorry Steve. I am confused too. Shall I start a 'vote thread' like you did with your Dining Around The World restaurants??? I don't know if people would rather make their own PS or if we should try to make a big group PS.

I need input ASAP!!! Please. :D

Well, here's a big I Don't Know from disneycub. I've never done a PS for any party bigger than 2, and I don't know whether Disney deals with large parties the way they do small ones. Let me call them, and I'll let you know how it works.

I just talked to WDW Group Dining. If we have a large party, they make what they call a "hard" reservation for the group for whatever time.

Of course there's a catch. We would have to guarantee the reservation with a credit card. Cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours in advance, as well as changes in group number. However, if we do not cancel, or come in with 5 people instead of 21 or so, the credit card used to guarantee would be charged $10.00 per person that failed to show. So, for 21 people that would be $210.00.

I dunno, Tia....I'm thinking individual tables might be more prudent. My first reaction was to guarantee the group with my credit card, but something about that just doesn't fit right, if ya know what I mean.

and an ouch!!!

Hey! Lets just meet for drinkies before the CP ressies at the lounge at the YC!!!

(We can have our Flirt Meet then!);) :D

Yikes! Steve! I wouldn't want you to guarantee the ressie with your credit card. There are too many things that could change, even at the last minute. Why don't we leave it at the individual tables-your table for 6 and Tia's table for 6. As more people become interested, we can just add more PS's to accommodate them. (Also, not everyone wants to eat at the Crystal Palace.) I think it's safer, financially. What do you think?
;) BT, you can do your flirtie thing across the tables at the CP, too! ;) ;) :D That way we can all watch! LOL
