Hi, since i've been learning soooo much from these boards, thought i'd give my 5 cents back to you guys. I might have missed it, but i never read about the things i learned today:
* We booked our holiday package via the UK disney website and i thought the only "risk" was the exchange rate. However, today i learned that making ADR online is only possible if you've booked via the US website. This brings its own "risk", being the next point:
* According to the Mouse for Less site, online booking nowadays already opens an hour earlier to the phone booking, so at around 6.00 am. This means that those booked via the UK will only be able to book one hour later by phone. In lower seasons this may not be so bad, but in more busy seasons it may make all the difference in getting your ADR or not....
* If you booked via the UK website and you call the US number to make your ADR, they will not find your hotelreservation back via het packagebookingnumber sent to you from the UK website. Consequently, they will need your name, address, resort,.... to find the info they need, potentially making you loose very valuable time..... You can prevent this by calling in the day before your 180 day mark to the US line and ask them specifically to find out your hotelreservation number. This way your booking may go faster than it did with us.
* When calling the US line, they told me that for V&A booking, i could only book at the 180 mark, not at the 180+10 day mark. However, i called V&A anyhow and they were able to make my reservation at 180+10.....
Hope this helps anyone out there !!
