To all you Disney professionals out there, I need help. We (hubby, myself and two kids 10-8) are going to disney world in oct. 15-21. We really don't wan't to rent a car but will reconsider. My main confusion lies in where to stay. I love the size of the off site places but think the disney experience (especially the first time) would be better on site. We will only have 3 days in the parks as my son has a Tae kwon do tornament at wide world of sports. There is a package offered at All Star Sports for 82.00 a night but my husband dosn't sleep well so double bed really don't work for us. I think I have looked and read most of the room configuations that are posted and I still dont know. Mainly what I am looking for is a place the kids can enjoy on the days we can't get to the park. The room also needs at least a queen bed and I would prefer bunks for the boys but I think I can't get these if we rent points? Basicly tell me what to do. I know you can't, but any help or advice would be greatly appriciated. Thank you so much. Jenny

You would either need AKL or WL to get the bunk beds and DVC does not have those kinds of rooms.
I hope you have a gret time when you go ;)

With kids the ages of yours, why not do rent an AKV 1 bedroom unit. You will hafe a king bed in the master, a queen size pullout in the living room PLUS a twin sized pull out in the living room. That give each of your boys their own bed, and the two of you a bigger bed as well. There is so much to do at AKV, you really wont notice that you aren't going to the parks everyday, since being there is like being at a park. I suggest either a Standard or Savanna view. Do NOT get a value view room, since it will be small and will not have the extra bed in the living room.

Not real likely at this point - within the seven month window for the ever popular October.

jenedr - You may want to go over to the resorts board and post over there. You are late to be renting points for October unless you will stay at SSR or OKW - and even then you may be late.
