Well sort of. I joined here in 2008 after my first trip to WDW. I forgot my password and I have a new email account. Couldn't change the old password so I just created a new account.
Looking forward to my second trip to WDW!
I really wasn't sure how I was going to like it when we went the first time. Then I had my "Disney moment" at Epcot.
We all had bracelets for the Extra Magic Hour, but after Illuminations everyone headed back to the resort - except for me.
I had no plans - I just wandered around World showcase. I remember leaning against a railing, watching the barges being moved. Turning around I saw Spaceship Earth in the distance.
It was so beautiful.
That's when I fell in love with the place.
I knew I'd be back.
And in 27 days I'll be there.
I'm so exited!

Welcome back to the boards. I am curious, do they still burn the barges before they are removed from the lagoon? I heard a few years ago that this was an awesome sight, but I have never seen it.

Not sure about the barge burn-off. If they did it, I missed it. Could have happened when I was at the Rose&Crown afterwards.
