Hello this is my first time going to disney , we will be there the week of December 10th through December the 17th. Is this a busy week? And are the kids out of school yet? My husband is not as excited as I am:woohoo: so I dont wont him to have a bad time. Does anyone have any ideas for me:idea: I would really appreciate the help.:cheer2:

Welcome!! The great thing about Disney is there is something for everyone, find something that you think your husband will enjoy, and make time for it. Some things I can think of: Try Beer around the world at Epcot, Rent one of those little boats around the world for a half hour or so, make a dinner ADR at a restaurant of his choice. There is a Richard Petty experience ($$$$), fishing, golfing, all kindsof activities. Just take some time to do some research and i'm sure you will find something just for your husband!!

Welcome fellow newbie :goodvibes
This is my first post, but I've been reading trip reports for a while now. I am in a similar boat as you, my husband couldn't care less about going in Feb. I am considering this our first time even though I went as a child because I was too young to remember anything.
I have tried to book a stress-free trip for us. Staying at the Polynesian, so hopefully there is better transportation (although I hear about lots of broken down monorails lately). My husband does not like crowds, so I think I picked a good time (Feb4-11) before school vacation weeks and after the holiday rush. Another reason for picking the Poly is to be able to watch the fireworks from our beach then go right to our room and not have to fight the crowds out of the parks.
We are very lucky because normally we wouldn't be able to afford the Poly, but this year my parents are paying a portion of it and buying our park passes for a Christmas present, so we only have to pay for about 1/2 of it. Otherwise we would be in a moderate or value. I debated soooo much on this. Was looking at Port Orleans French Quarter to save some money, but then decided that we would NEVER get the opportunity to stay at the Poly again, so we are gonna go for it. I just hope it is relaxing enough for my hubby or he will never go back with us.
What are your plans so far?

:wave2: and :welcome: to DIS!

I'm sure your husband will love it when you get there! I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't enjoy their time at WDW!

You'll find a lot of useful information and friendly people here who will be happy to help with your questions!
