Newbie to DVC Questions

I'm starting to look into purchasing DVC for my family...me, hubby, 3 children and grandson. What if we wanted to bring along extra people? Top choice resorts would be BC, AK, Contemp (when they open) or WL in that order. I'm very confused on trying to figure out how many points we would need for a week long stay. Could someone help explain this to me? How much are the annual dues?

Right at the top of this page you will see DVC points charts and that will tell you all you need to know.
You can stay just one night or you can stay for as long as you want it is not required you stay in certain number of nights.
But try that and see what you get.

Look at the time of year and size of accommodations you'd be intereted in and it will give you the amount of points needed for that time period and accommodation.

Alot of people forego staying on a Saturday night (has the highest points), staying Sunday thru Friday nights and still getting the 7 days use of parks. Good luck with your decision and happy planning.
