Newbie to Dis!!

Hi All....This is my first time visiting and posting on DIS. I'm still in the process of planning our vacation for July 05. This time we are trying a Disney Resort for the first time. Having a little trouble decideing between resorts...either CS or CBR??? After reading the reviews I think I'm more for CS now, but welcome any suggestions or any other tips. This will be my husband's first time and my 2 year old daughter and I want it to be just perfect. Also, my mother is coming this trip and she required a ECV to get around. I'm interested in renting one for our entire stay....any help with this??? One more thing... where can I get sea world and universal tickets at a great rate???

Check out allears.net for a slide show and fact sheet on every WDW resort. We stayed at CBR over spring break this March and loved it! Your 2 year old will love the white, sandy beaches.

My 2 year old is so excited now, can't wait to see her reaction when we get there. All the resorts look so beautiful it's hard to chose one.. Thanks for the helpful info. I went to the link for the ticker and copied and pasted the link and it wouldn't work!. Wondering if I did something wrong Again thanks for the help and the welcome....

You have to click on User Cp on the left of your screen. From there you click on edit signature. Copy the ticker code you create from the link I gave you and paste it into the blank area while you are in edit signature. I hope that makes sense. Hope that works!

Thanks again for your help! Unfortuately I tried that and again it didn't work. It doesn't even show my countdown in the preview just the url. Guess it's testing my computer knowledge... Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Welcome to the boards! I have stayed at both, but I liked CS the best....but really it depends on what you like. I just felt like CBR was a little bit too big for me.

As far as the ticker, I know you go to www.tickerfactory.com..and i've tried it but it doesnt work for me. Try it though it may work for you!!

I can't seem to get my "ticker"to work. I have tried cutting and copying it from different web sites but all they show is the addresses not the ticker. How did you get yours to work?

I just went to www.tickerfactory.com, made the ticker, then used copy & paste on where it says "bbCode" - that's the code if you wanna use it on the DIS board. Yes, I'm excited 'bout the new Harry Potter book & movie. I just saw the preview of the movie online last night - I can't wait to see it!
