Hello Everyone!

I've been lurking on the DIS boards for some time and have done more WDW world planning than I should probably admit. I honestly think I may be more aware of things than some who've actually been... it's scary!

Our family of 5 (me, hubs and three sons, 4, 2 almost 3 and 1) plus my niece and her bf are heading to WDW in October and can't wait! I thought, what better than now to JOIN Dis!

Our itinerary looks like this:

Our trip looks like this:

Tuesday, October 6th:
Check in to The Animal Kingdom Lodge
5:15pm Dinner at California Grill at Contemporary
7:00pm Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Wednesday, October 7th:
Animal Kingdom (extra magic hours)
5:10pm Danielle, Ryan + Kids Dinner at The Plaza Restaurant, MK
5:30pm Mom & Dad Dinner at Victoria and Albert’s, Queen Victoria Room

Thursday, October 8th:
Hollywood Studios
12:25pm Lunch at 50’s Prime Time Café
7:45pm La Hacienda De San Angel & Illuminations Viewing
9:30pm Epcot Visit, Extra Magic Hours

Friday, October 9th:
Epcot
3:30pm Danielle, Ryan + Kids, Dinner Res at TRex at Downtown Disney
3:30pm Tara & Paul Out at Epcot & Monorail Bar Crawl (if we feel like it)

Saturday, October 10th:
Magic Kingdom
9:10am Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s at Contemporary
9:05pm Be Our Guest, ADR Made on 4/9/15

Sunday, October 11th:
Magic Kingdom
8:45am Character Breakfast at The Crystal Palace (photos in front of the Castle, pre-opening)

It's not quite time to make our Fast Pass + reservations, but I'm hopeful that we'll get on and to see all the things we want to!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I look forward to interacting with you all... here's to magical vacations for us all :)

Hooray for your first trip to Disney and :welcome: to the Dis!

My only bit of advice would be to look for an earlier CP breakfast on your last day, just to give you a little more time. My second bit of advice is try the breakfast lasagna there, it's crazy good.
Don't worry too much about making FPs, you should be able to get whatever you'd like. It's a pretty straightforward system.

Enjoy the pre-Disney glow and HAVE FUN in October!! :dogdance::dogdance:

Thank you for the warm welcome!

That was the earliest available :( :( But it's still pre-park opening, so that's cool (I'm in search of a fabulous family photos in front of the castle without hoards of people in it!)

Can't wait...

You can keep looking for earlier times. People cancel the closer they get to their trips and ADRs open up, so don't lose hope if you're really wanting an earlier time. People around here find last minute gems fairly frequently! It's your best bet for the photos you're looking for.

Good luck and have fun!

I'll certainly give it a shot!!! :)

Welcome! The only issue I see is that late of an ADR at BOG. Will you be able to stay for the fireworks and castle show on your last night?
