I made my reservations last night for 6 restaurants. I am going in Sept on the dining plan and was overwhelmed with all the choices. Here is what I picked......

Chef Mickey's (thinking of changing this since I don't have kids)
50's Prime Time Cafe
Les Chefs de France
L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Yachtsman Steakhouse

Should I trade Chef Mickey's for the Coral Reef or Marrakesh????

TIA Crystal!

Chef Mickey's is alot of fun. I am not crazy about the food. Give a character meal a try you might enjoy, many childless people attend.
50's Prime Time Cafe

Prime Time Cafe has very good food. (home made type, fried chicken, pot pies, meatloaf,) PT is also fun with the antics. You might get a cousin, Aunt and so on.

Les Chefs de France
Never been.

L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante
Never been

Wolfgang Puck Cafe
I have only been to Wolfgang Puck express and enjoyed their food. We had a pizza dish and a pasta dish.

Yachtsman Steakhouse
never been

We just got back from our first Disney trip about 2 weeks ago.

Visited Coral Reef - SO not impressed. The scenery was nice (aquarium), but the food was subpar, IMO. On our next Disney trip (Lord willing we can afford to go again), I won't visit there again.

Now, if you like seafood - I'd vote for Fultons. We were on the dining plan, but chose to cancel another ressie and pay out of pocket for a night at Fultons. SO worth it, other than that our server was kind of a jerk. :(

Chef Mickeys was fun - the food was nothing spectacular, but wasn't bad either. I actually thought the salmon was quite good. That's the only character meal I've had at Disney, so I'm not sure how it compares to the other ones if you're looking to do the characters.

I remember 50s PT as being more fun in the past (when I went as a preteen). It could have been because I was younger, or it could have been because our waitress this time seemed overworked and burned out. I think she'd worked a double that day or something, and just wasn't up for playing along it seemed.

The others I haven't eaten at. Good luck and hope you have a great trip!

Chef Mickey's (thinking of changing this since I don't have kids) Keep Chef Mickey's, It's Mickey for pete's sake. I'm turing 23 and me and my then DH will be going there for my birthday night.
50's Prime Time Cafe I liked this one, DF is a little more shy and found it a little obnoxious... but enjoy an experience and a meal. Good choice!
Les Chefs de France Never been.
L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante Never been.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe Personally, I find this place boring. The food (to me) can be found anywhere, and I'm not just saying this since there is a WP near my house! At Disney, I would think something more unique would be appropriate.
Yachtsman Steakhouse There aren't a lot of reviews of this place on here, and I have never been. However, if you like steak, most people will suggest Le Cellier at Epcot.

Should I trade Chef Mickey's for the Coral Reef or Marrakesh????

I don't think I would trade any of those ressies for CR or Marrakesh.

If anything, I would suggest Ohana and Le Cellier.

Not a big character person myself, never been. If you looking for something fun though, Whispering Canyon is a good option, also Kona Cafe has a REALLY good breakfast at Polynesian. Liberty Tree Tavern at MK is another good option for lunch, there are no characters then.

50's Prime Time Cafe

I really enjoyed this when we ate there about 2 years ago. Its' very fun, and the food is good. Milk shakes are wonderful.

Les Chefs de France

Never Been

L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante

I have eaten here atleast 4 times and have never had a bad meal. The Alfredo Pasta is VERY VERY good, its their specialty and I recommend it.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe

I've eaten here atleast 3 times, and then once at the express. Never had a bad meal either, the cheese ravioli if I remember it right was really good. We also had our rehersal dinner here, and everyone loved it.

Yachtsman Steakhouse

Never been, if you want steak though Le Cellier is very good.

Chef Mickey's: I like it, especially for a character breakfast.

50's Prime Time Cafe: Stinks on ice, the food is average at best and the schtick is utterly annoying. One of my least favorites. I prefer Mama Melroses or Sci-Fi

Les Chefs de France: decent, my wife loves the lunch there

L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante: I live in NJ where I can fall down and hit an italian restaurant just as good. Having said that, its above average and has a nice feel to it.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe-Never been

Yachtsman Steakhouse- never been

Should I trade Chef Mickey's for the Coral Reef or Marrakesh???? I don't think I would. Maybe Marrakesh, I'm not a seafood guy.

My faves you didn't list are the San Angel Inn at Epcot, Boma at AKL, and the House of Blues. And everyone I mean everyone loves Le Cellier.
