Starting to explore the potential for 1st Disney cruise in 2017. Ideal trip would be WDW for MNSSHP (closer to Halloween) followed by a cruise out of Port Canaveral than back to WDW for MVMCP. Likely total of length of trip 2-2.5 weeks, max being 3 weeks. It would be just two adults (mother-daughter trip).

When would dates for cruising be posted for 2017? Ideally, would like to know before end of Sept 2016 as would like to book bounce back while at WDW for the land portions of the trip.

What are people's opinions/experience about either Bahamian Cruise or Eastern/Western Caribbean Cruise during end of October/early November? Weather?

Being a Canadian, this will likely be the only Disney Line Cruise that we take for a significant time. Wondering if worth it go during this time frame?

Thanks in advance for some opinions/experiences/tips.

When would dates for cruising be posted for 2017?

Rumor is probably March for the summer 2017 itineraries, and probably May for the rest of 2017. But DCL will release dates when they choose.

Late October/early November is the tail end of hurricane season, but in reality such storms do not interrupt very many cruises at all. If we weren't locked into school vacation times and other holiday plans each year, I wouldn't hesitate to cruise in the fall.

Enjoy your land & sea vacation!

We are looking to set sail in June 2017....I guess we are just waiting for the itineraries to be released! So we are looking at March, huh? Any advance sales for Castaway Club members or Disney Visa holders?
