Hi! The family is going to WDW in Oct 07, staying @ FW.
Joined today after reading all the great "insider info."
Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to take into the parks a bag w/ your own water bottles & snacks?

Thanks!

Yes. You do have to go through bag check though. We usually freeze bottles of water and drink them as they defrost. Everybody winds up buying something, but it does save quite a bit of money.

No glass bottles of course.

We always take snacks and water in our backpack. things like granola bars and those individual pringles containers work out really good, and we always freeze our DS capri suns and that way they stay cold practically all day!

You can bring all of the above items and keep them in a soft sided cooler while in the parks.

Absolutely - just remember though NO STRAWS in AK because of the animals. They do a pretty thorough bag check at the entrance to each park & will confiscate any straws - even if they are on a juice box, so keep that in mind.

Thank you so much! I'm really loving being new to this website!
Everyone is so helpful!!

We have never had them take the capri sun straws, but youre right, I never thought of that! so I guess DS will just have to drink from a cup that day like the rest of us!

No take in alcohol in any parks.
